Next Saturday (31Mar18) breakfast will be held at Elliot's in Little Current; then, the following week (7Apr18) we will be back at Season's in M'Chigeeng...
We look forward to seeing you there!
Tired of hearing the digital "noise" on RMI when it's in the C4FM mode? The repeater DOES transmit a CTCSS tone of 156.7hz while in FM mode, allowing you to set your tone squelch on your NON C4FM radio...when it is properly set, you will see the signal strength meter go over, but you will hear no digital squawk...
Not sure how to set tone squelch on your radio? Contact Rusty or Al... I am sure we can walk you thru it!

Greetings Fellow Hams;
As most of you know by now the Manitoulin Amateur Radio Club has suffered a great loss in one of members becoming a silent key last night.
Roger Lloyd VA3REL has passed on to the big ham shack in the sky and our thoughts and prayers are with his family now. As President I want to thank Jim VE3LJM for sending out the announcement as I was away this morning at an appointment. Also, Martin VA3MFC for supplying more detailed information on Rogers passing. As most of you know Roger was a wonderful man that would help anyone at a drop of the hat and participated in most every club function that we had. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. I plan to do a memorial net this Sunday morning December 3rd at 10:00am on VE3RMI. If you have any stories or anything else you wish to share I urge you to check in.
I just got off the phone with Rogers mother Alva and the following information is provided.
Roger will be resting at the Simpson’s Funeral home in Gore Bay and visitation is on Sunday 03 Dec 2017 from 7 to 9 pm. The funeral will take place on Monday 04th December 2017 at 1:00pm at the Simpsons Funeral Home Chapel with burial at the Kagawong Cemetery to follow. The club will be sending flowers on behalf of all members.
